The Roster storyFAQ
The default label workspace has a $0 fixed monthly base fee and no artist-count cap. Included allowances apply first, then available prepaid credits, then recorded additional usage. A card is required for additional usage. The workspace shows your usage and billing period.
No. Roster charges for software features and recorded processing, not a share of your royalty income. Artist count and royalty value do not change the default workspace base fee.
Some specialist workflows require an optional feature subscription as well as processing charges. Catalogue Valuation is $19/month plus modelling usage. Compliance and Contract-to-Accounting is $29/month plus compute. Label Split Sheets is $8.99/month. Each offers a seven-day trial; access also depends on workspace permissions.
Roster prepares accounting, statement and invoice records. Your team remains responsible for paying artists. Agent tools do not publish statements, send notifications or execute payouts.
The default workspace has no fixed base fee. Each billing period includes 10,000 statement rows, 10 AI actions and 0.25 GB of evidence storage. Contract compute and valuation runs have no included allowance. Product help and support chat are free.
Contract processing is priced per recorded compute unit, not per uploaded contract. Different processing actions can consume different amounts. Review the estimate shown in your workspace before starting a paid action.
Yes. Optional category-specific processing packs are available in Billing. Included allowances apply before prepaid credits. A row pack covers rows, not contract compute, modelling or subscriptions. Check current credit terms and availability in your workspace.
The independent Artist Plan is $8.99/month after a seven-day trial. Artists invited by a label should use their invitation or log in to view the records shared with them. Existing paid workspace subscriptions retain their agreed pricing and allowances.
